PROJECT OVERVIEW
Saudade is a motorcycle journaling app that helps riders capture and preserve meaningful moments from their journeys. It creates a personal archive that goes beyond tracking routes and performance.

THE PROBLEM
Existing motorcycle apps are heavily focused on data like speed, distance, and fuel usage. This leaves no space for riders to reflect on experiences, causing lessons and memories to be lost over time.
THE SOLUTION
Saudade provides riders with a simple space to document reflections, memories, and lessons after each ride. Through guided prompts and a structured timeline, these experiences are preserved as a living personal journal.

BUSINESS IMPACT
By introducing reflection into a traditionally utility-focused category, Saudade creates a more emotionally engaging riding experience. This approach explores how habit-forming reflection can build stronger long-term relationships between riders and the product.
WHAT I LEARNED
This project helped me explore how emotional design can transform functional tools into reflective experiences. I learned how framing and tone can shift a product from utility-driven to meaning-driven without adding complexity.
